Transplanting over 1000 Marigolds and Zinnias atChatham Manor

The volunteers had a very busy and productive morning. It was time to transplant over 1000 marigolds and zinnias that we started from seed, into 4” pots. After they were all transplanted, we staged them in the greenhouses. The cold frames got covered with new material, and we moved about 1000 various plants that were ready from the greenhouse to the cold frames. The best part was that we had 13 volunteers show up today, and that made the entire process move quickly!
