DAR Visits Chatham as Fall Arrives

What a beautiful day we had for gardening at Chatham! The lovely weather gave us the perfect opportunity to spend time caring for the garden and enjoying the first signs of the changing season.

Friends of Chatham was especially pleased to welcome members of the Daughters of the American Revolution from Ohio. We thoroughly enjoyed their visit and were delighted to hear so many wonderful comments about the garden. Their kind words mean a great deal to all of our volunteers who dedicate their time and energy to keeping the grounds looking beautiful.

The garden is beginning to show signs that a new season is just around the corner. Our asters are starting to bloom, bringing fresh splashes of color to the landscape, and a new delivery of mulch has arrived for the work ahead.

Beautiful flowers, fresh mulch, wonderful visitors, and the promise of cooler days—all signs that Fall is almost here at Chatham!

Thank you to everyone who helps Friends of Chatham care for and preserve this special place for all to enjoy.
