Spring Day Planting March

Another beautiful Spring day at Chatham. We have potted about 900 various flower plugs into 4” pots, and have another 650 trays of seeds started. The volunteers weeded the Rose Garden in preparation for fertilizing. Diana still has her winter coat on, but she is surrounded by daffodils. We had 2 new volunteers join us today! I discovered 3 pet markers today, from the Devores’ family that bought Chatham in 1920. Melee Melee and Buck were dogs, Stra was their pet Peacock.
