Seven volunteers managed to accomplish a lot today. We weeded, cut back the wisteria, deadheaded peonies, covered more cold frames and moved the red and white zinnias out of the greenhouse. I was surprised to see that the peonies still look great even after that hard rain we had yesterday. If you haven’t had a chance yet, come out and see what’s blooming so far….peonies, foxgloves, larkspur, poppies, lupine and roses.
