Our Annual Meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd

Our Annual Meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd, in the Theater Room of the Fredericksburg Branch of the Central Rappahannock Regional Library, 1201 Caroline Street. Beginning at 5:30 PM, we will be serving light refreshments. There will be time to mingle and conduct any necessary business with representatives from the Membership Committee. At 6:00 PM, the business portion of the Annual Meeting will commence.

All Friends of Chatham members are urged to attend. We need 10% of our membership in attendance for a quorum. During the meeting, reports will be given by the Directors on the past year's activities and plans for the future. We will also be voting on proposed amendments to our Bylaws.

Please plan to renew your membership for the 2025-2026 membership year (Fiscal year runs July 1, 2025-June 30, 2026) at the Annual Meeting. The Treasurer, Membership Director and other committee members will be on hand to assist you with that process. Payment by personal check or credit card will be accepted. If you are not yet a member or might not have renewed for the current fiscal year, please come to the meeting and join -- your membership will be effective immediately and will run through June 30, 2026.

If you would like to avoid the line at the meeting, you can renew your membership for 2025/2026 before the meeting. Please visit our website at www.friendsofchatham.org and click on "Support Us" on the header, then "Become a Member" to join via PayPal. Please add a note when making your donation if you would like your membership donation in excess of $25.00 to go to either the General Preservation Fund, or the Garden Fund (The Liz Thompson Memorial Fund for Chatham Garden and Grounds). The first $25.00 of all membership donations goes to the Operating Fund that covers on-going operating expenses for Friends of Chatham.

A few days prior to the meeting date, we will send out another email with attachments (last year's minutes, meeting agenda, board member reports) for your review prior to the meeting.
